About Kirsten:
When you are here...you are here....and it's uncommon that you will want to be somewhere else. That's the magic of California's North Bay Area Wine Country. Sonoma County and Napa County are "place-based" destinations and residents here have a strong "sense of place." My family was drawn here and invested in wine country real estate back in 1943 when my grandfather bought author Jack London's Hill Ranch in Glen Ellen, where my home is today.
In 2008 I was ranked fifth in real estate sales in my market. My passion is land and country property because each is utterly unique. I sell everything from condos to country estates, though, and have an excellent reputation for finding buyers what they want and getting sellers what they need. I am respected by other agents for my standards of practice and negotiating skills, which benefit my clients in many ways. Agents who work well together get far more deals done than renegades.
I serve my community as a member of the Board of Directors of the Sonoma Land Trust, a non-profit that preserves signature landscapes and selected parcels of open space. I'm also a commissioner on the Sonoma Valley Citizens Advisory Commission, appointed by our Sonoma County Supervisor Valerie Brown, to review Sonoma Valley land use issues.
I'm a full-time real estate agent with a professional background in broadcast news, marketing, and public relations. My clients include first time buyers, investors, retirees, relocation folks, and primary and second home buyers and sellers.
