About Us:
Aloha! Bob and I started working together in the real estate industry in 1999. He was a loan consultant for the first few years and when I became a real estate broker in 2002, we began to sell real estate as a team and specialized in residential real estate sales, investments, 1031 exchanges and property management.
Today, we focus primarily on residential land sales and custom home design and development. Based on the combination of our experience in real estate and knowledge of the entire home building process, we are a valuable resource to our clients who plan to build their own home, whether they decide to be an owner-builder or hire a general contractor. In 1997, we purchased our first piece of land...a waterfront parcel in Discovery Bay with access to the California Delta waterways. We purchased our second lot in 2003, 10 acres of land in the horse country town of Knightsen. In 2005, we bought a 20-acre income-producing vineyard in Livermore Valley Wine Country and decided to construct our first custom home on this property.
Beginning in 2006, we decided to concentrate our efforts on custom home design and development. Our first project is a Mediterranean estate ("Villa della Vigna") on a 20-acre vineyard in the Livermore Valley AVA. After our cumulative years of experience touring the luxury custom home market throughout California, we used our vision to create the quintessential vineyard estate and designed a magnificent single-story home reminiscent of a Roman courtyard villa. Natural materials, custom finishes and luxurious appointments were used in the construction of this home, such as a clay tile roof, wood windows, natural travertine, marble medallions and baths, groin vault, barrel vault, dome, cove and coffered ceilings, Old World faux finished walls, handmade Lacanche French range, Gaggenau steam oven, Savage Designer Cabinets and a jetted Japanese soaking tub. This property is currently under contract and scheduled for completion by the end of 2009.
Prior to entering the real estate industry, Bob was an amateur Sprint Car Driver competing with the World of Outlaws, a missile development mechanic with Lockheed Martin and a union commercial pipefitter. He was born and raised in San Jose, California. I was in marketing, graphic design and executive administration in the technology and product development sectors. I was also previously in the hospitality and travel industries and a private English tutor in Paris, France. I was born in Texas, raised in Hawaii and as a military brat with divorced parents, attended high school in Germany. Bob and I met in San Jose, California in 1995 and were married in 1997. We have 6 Cane Corsos and love to go on cruises, motorcycle rides and wine tasting...but not all at the same time! :)
