About Us:

Hi -

I'm Spencer Rascoff, the COO of Zillow.com, one of the largest real estate websites. 

I grew up in New York and then Los Angeles. Went to college in Boston and then back to New York, before moving to San Francisco and then Seattle.

I used to be an investment banker at Goldman Sachs, and then I was a private equity investor at Texas Pacific Group in San Francisco.

In 1999, I co-founded an online travel company, Hotwire.com, which we sold to Expedia in 2003. I worked at Expedia for a year as VP Lodging before joining Zillow as employee #4 in March 2005.
