Sharon Starks, ph.D. has been a top real estate broker/agent in this area for over 25 years. She has been selected as "Top Agent" by "D" Magazine, has been the number one agent in her office many times and has received several awards for outstanding service to her clients. Sharon is not only a residential real estate specialist, but also works in Commercial and is a Certified Relocation Specialist, having worked with several top relocation companies in the country. She served as Director of Training for a rather large real estate company for a time before deciding to return to her first love, residential real estate sales on a full time basis, instead of sharing client time with the agent training program. Sharon is a native of this area and has sales experience all over the "Metroplex", although her concentration is in Northeast Texas, including Rockwall, Rowlett, Royse City, Wylie, Plano, Garland and points north and east. Because of her expertise, she has sold homes in virtually every community in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area. With Sharon's vast experience, she is able to have expertise in many areas. She concentrates in residental sales; has had much experience in "Fine Homes and Estate Sales", has sold large tracts of land to developers as well as engaged in strategic marketing of farms, ranches, horse farms and commercial transaction. She just loves to help people with their real estate needs and she and her team are efficient in most all aspects of the real estate market. Community Involvement and MORE!
Sharon has always been involved in her community. She served on the Planning and Zoning Commission with the City of Rowlett for 6 years and is a member of the Chamber of Commerce. She has also been a member of the Exchange Club of Rowlett She attends Lakepointe Church in Rockwall, a large church of over 12,000 members. She serves in the Stephen Ministry and utilizes her counseling skills in this volunteer position. She was the past Texas Editor for "Texchange", the monthly publication for the Exchange Clubs in the State of Texas. Sharon is a writer and has contributed several articles to local publications. She worked in education, having taught for 26 years at the High School for Health Professions in Dallas (while also being a real estate broker/agent) and received her B.S. and M.S. from University of North Texas. She completed her Ph.D studies at Texas A & M University in Commerce and her Dissertation from Cornerstone University in Louisiana. Sharon has two children. Her son lives with his wife and one son in Commerce TX and her daughter resides with her husband and four children in Carrollton TX. Both of her children are involved in their local churches and in their communities. Neither one of them, however, have yet to enter the real estate field, but Sharon is working on that!!!
