About Cindy

Cindy Lin is the founder and owner of Staged4more Home Staging & Redesigns, which was based on her belief that "A Staged home is more than a sold sign, it's about achieving more with sellers' new equity." Staged homes are sold homes that bring more equity & less market time for home sellers. Therefore, home sellers move on with their next phase of their lives faster and with more equity in hand to achieve more than the sellers of average non-staged homes. She also strongly believe in building a community through her company and the staging does not need to be expensive and cookie-cutter. She established Staged4more's mission as "Providing flexible and affordable home staging solutions to San Francisco Bay Area real estate agents & home sellers." Staged4more is a certified Better Business Bureau (BBB) member.

Cindy is an experienced home staging professional & home stylist, staging educator/speaker and real estate blogger. She has studied with various successful home staging and redesign professionals, including Barb Schwarz, the original creator of home staging who has 35+ years of experience in home staging. Cindy is an Accredited Staging Professional Master (ASPM), an Interior Redesign Industry Specialist (IRIS) and the Charter Chapter President for the San Francisco Chapter of International Association of Home Staging Professionals (IAHSP) from 2005-2007. She recently became the Charter Chapter President for the San Francisco Chapter of Real Estate Staging Association (RESA). To date, she has assisted 50+ San Francisco bay area home sellers & agents sold $31 million worth of real estate, in which, earned a combined $1,133,000 in over-asking price.

Prior to becoming a full-time staging professional, Cindy was working as a property manager to a high-end rental property in Hillsborough, CA, in additions to working as a Buyer's Agent for San Francisco Bay Area home buyers. Her past real estate experiences had helped her to be able to view properties through buyers' and high-end renters' eyes and understand what buyers look for in buying a home. Moreover, her 5-year non-profit experiences had enriched her skills in working with flexible budgets, acute problem solving, grassroots and word-of-mouth marketing.

Testimonials From Home Staging Clients

Staging Testimonial #1

AFTER the Staged4more Treatment: A home with elegant roots gets a fresh start and a clean look to invite prospective buyers. SOLD! $305,000 Over Asking!

"Cindy is a fabulous stager. She is calm under pressure and works well with homesellers, gauging their needs while listening intently. She has the ability to accentuate the best features in a home and which helps sellers and real estate agents obtain top dollar. I would highly recommend Cindy Lin for your staging needs." -Therese & Ed Milestone, Realtors / Real Estate Consultant, Keller Williams - SF Properties

Staging Testimonial #2:

AFTER the Staged4more Treatment: We transformed a drab, empty interior into a welcoming and spacious bedroom, highlighting the bright and airy look.

Kind words from the Listing Agent Raj Vaswani of Keller Williams San Mateo: His staged listing SOLD 7 DAYS AFTER STAGING AND OVER ASKING, with a competing 2br/2ba unit on sale in the building at $40,000 more than the asking price.

"Cindy! On my 1st open house last week, I got compliments on how well you staged the place. It defined areas better and helped people visualize possibilities. The seller, who originally didn't want to stage, said it was worth it. Thank you again for getting everything ready so quickly!

The seller was also happy with the price, I don't think he would of went for it if it was too high. Also loved the fact that you bill escrow."

Staging Testimonial #3: (example of re-arrangement, using ALL home owner's belongings)

"On behalf of my siblings and myself I would like to express our thanks for the job you [Accredited Staging Professionals] did on our parents' home. All we could say was WOW when we walked in the door. Not to mention loving the front patio and front entrance. We were in a state of shock to see the transformation of our family home.

We called all the neighbors to come take a look at what now shows as a "million" dollar house. Words can't express our amazement at the creativity of your students. Using sheets, pillowcases, napkins, tablecloths, old torn curtains, wood from the woodpile, etc. to decorate was truly strokes of genius.

To those who took up the carpeting and removed all the nails and tacks we send a hearty thanks. We had no idea how it would change the look ofthings, truly eye opening.

Thank you again for considering using our home and we PROMISE it will look the same when we market the house. We took lots of pictures to assure we got everything back to its right place.

I wish everyone the best of luck in their work and we will not hesitate to recommend you to anyone.

I could go on "

BEFORE the Staged4more Treatment: Just too much "stuff" here! There was A LOT of furniture in the living room, as well as knick-knacks. It was also covered by dusty and faded brown shag carpet. These things all together made the living room felt small and suffocating. There was too much dust and gray. Lighting was also very poor. The whole room felt like "death." AFTER the Staged4more Treatment: Bright, clean, and spacious. After Staging, we established a focal point to the room, exposed the view by changing the window treatment, made it more appealing to a broader range of buyers. The beautiful hardwood that was hidden underneath the thick carpet came out and really helped to lighten up the room.

BEFORE the Staged4more Treatment: This was "The Blue Room," -- absolutely blue everything, blue sheets, blue couch and royal blue-shagged carpet. It was a stuffy atmosphere, so cluttered with furniture that we did not even notice the lovely art deco styled furniture in this room!

AFTER the Staged4more Treatment: We transformed the room into a clean and homey sitting room.

We also tore out the carpet to expose the beautiful hardwood floor!
