- I teach the Floyd Wickman S.M.A.R.T. Program, successor to Sweathogs. I live in Austin, TX but my market is wherever I can help brokers & their agents. My students average 1.07 transactions/week
About Jason:
I was licensed as a real estate salesperson in Texas in February of 1994. A college job at the Texas Association of Realtors led me to that point and my career began very slowly. In fact, after a 18 months in the industry, I had earned about $6,000 (a difficult amount to live on even for a 19 year old) and was about to go get a “real job”. My manager at the the time, Chris Heagerty, drug me kicking and screaming to what would be a life changing event; the introduction seminar for a Floyd Wickman training program.
There I met one of Floyd’s master trainers,
Mary Johnson, and Floyd’s training changed my life. After earning only $6,000 in the first 18 months, I generated $2 million worth of sales during the 3 month program and $60,000 in commissions. At that point I was about 20 years old and I thought I was the richest man on the planet. Obviously I gained control of my career and income. I went on to be the youngest person ever listed on the Austin Business Journal’s Top 50 Agents list. Then in 2002 was on the cover of REALTOR Magazine as one of their
"30 Under 30" (click mag cover to read story).
In 2004 I decided it was finally time to do what I was meant to do...become a trainer for Floyd's orginaziation myself. Becoming a Floyd Wickman Trainer is no small accomplishment. You must be personally selected and trained by Floyd to deliver his newest program, The S.M.A.R.T. Program. But I joke with Floyd that he had no choice; this is what I was born to do. I truly believe I spent over a decade selling homes so that I could be here today. I think from the time I took my first Floyd program, in the back of my mind, I knew I’d end up here. Floyd taught me the techniques, dialogues and attitudes that caused me to realize my dreams. Now, using that experience, I believe that I am called to be the mouthpiece that allows others to live the kind of life they imagine.
Most people that know me would probably describe me as driven, fun, and inspiring. I lead an incredibly blessed and active life and (thanks to Floyd) have balance between my work and personal lives. I live in Austin, Texas with two dogs Buddy & Bailey and when not at the park with them, I spend a lot of time with my personal trainer and working toward my goal of finishing an Ironman race in 2008.
