Strathcona Edmonton Real Estate

Strathcona Edmonton real estate was much stronger than the overall Edmonton average on a sold price per square foot basis.  That changed drastically over the 3rd and 4th quarters of 2010 for Strathcona.  The Strathcona market really dipped in this period and is now on the same level as Edmonton.

The average sale price per square foot in Strathcona in the last 90 days was $261/sq ft.  The days on market and average sold to list price ratio were both weaker in Strathcona than in the rest of Edmonton.  This isn't too surprising, as Strathcona consists of older homes and attracts a smaller segment of buyers.  The sold to list price ratio in Strathcona is very similar to Westmount, which is another older neighbourhood.
