Question: I recently put an offer on a house Santa Ana, CA. The house was listed at 259k. I offered 265k. The bank came back with a counter of 280k and contingencies settled in 7 days. My question is:
1. Is the price on the counter legal? It seems very misleading to me.
2. 7 days for contingencies seems to me like something is wrong. What is your opinion.
