Speechless Sundays: If you think cats do not communicate, clearly you have not been exposed to cats. Now with that said, Jill has been coming up to me in my home office... talking, yelling and I ignored her.... then I went in the kitchen and look at the main photo. The empty hole is where she would eat kibble. Lately she has been on various medication and has some teeth pulled on top, hence she has become a fan of wet food and prefers wet food over kibble. Well, see for yourself. Now when she is content and full look what she does. Something we should do ourselves:)))Wishing you a safe and healthy life and I look forward to your comments. If you are looking for a knowledgeable, focused and goal-oriented Realtor in the Beverly Hills area who will help you achieve your Real Estate goals, pl...

" Men and women are limited not by the place of their birth, not by the color of their skin, but by the size of their hope." John JohnsonThis message is the beginning of Chapter One of Zig Ziglar's book called Over the Top. What a powerful quote hence I thought I would share here today.Let me share another part of this first Chapter of Zig Ziglar's book:"Fifty two percent of the CEO's of the Fortune 500 companies are from lower-middle-class or poor families and 80 per cent of the millionaires in America are first-generation millionaires. Opportunity is alive and well. Now with that said this book was written in 1997. if you want my take, nothing has changed. As Zig Ziglar said way back then I am in agreement with him " Is the top a destination, or is it really a journey?" I believe and al...

Well  Debe Maxwell, CRS  posted a recipe about chicken Gnocchi, I thought what a great recipe let me see if I can incorporate it and make my own version.Well with that said, I had baked chicken breast from the other day aka leftovers. I always have the ingredients she listed, then I thought maybe I should add some Mushrooms and some Sun-Dried tomatoes to bring it up to the next level.I also added some chicken stock as well as some heavy cream at the end.Needless to say, I chose to use a different pasta. Her recipe was great, but I needed to bring it up to the next level:))Anyway,https://activerain.com/droplet/HY77 check out her recipe and look at my changes, no pepper or paprika other than that all the same:) Debe Maxwell, CRS  thank you for the inspiration:) Wishing you a safe and heal...

If you are a fan of true crime, specifically of serial killers, this is a must-read book for you.Terror in Ypsilanti John Norman Collins Unmasked by Gregory A. Fournier a book review. As a bit of background, I seldom read non-fiction books. That said, this book was gifted to me by one of Diane’s Goodreads online reader friends, a woman who hails from Michigan and who knew that I attended Eastern Michigan University (EMU) for two semesters from 1972-1973.  While I was waiting for my US Citizenship papers and subsequently hearing whether I would be accepted into the U.S. Air Force Academy or the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, I chose to go to EMU on a scholarship and grants rather than hang around my parents' house.  Yes, I was always up for an adventure back then! When I arrived as...

Wordless Wednesdays: Life of Holly in a pet friendly home... As a pet friendly Realtor in Los Angeles, I not only talk a good game, but I practice what I preach. Now with that said how many homes can show pictures of their dog being sandwiched by two cats one on each side. Now in all fairness she does not seem that thrilled but clearly does not mind. On a side note, they all end up in bed with us and I am glad we have a King Sized bed.  Wishing you a safe and healthy life and I look forward to your comments. The Exile by Allan Folsom, a book review by Endre Barath, Jr. a Beverly Hills Realtor Do you like to read?  Do you love a good page turner, a book that will make you want to stay up all night and hole up all weekend to read?  If yes, then have I got a book recommendation for you.  The Exile is my fourth book by author Allan Folsom; the first three I read were The Day After Tomorrow, The Machiavelli Covenant and Day of Confession.   I loved all of them.  For no good reason, I went on a book sabbatical, just not having the motivation or the inclination to read.  With a houseful of books, this was not a good thing.  Thanks to my Active Rain friend and author,  Ricki Eichler McCallum , I got back to reading again with her two novels Snow Fire and Snow Fire Revenge and Justice.  Which brings...

Motivation Monday: Please let me know what you think of these quotes. Just as a background I bought this book in 2002 and the quotes are from it. I met the author, and she personalized it for me, and I am grateful for it. The book is called "Business Etiquette" by Ann Marie Sabath. I loved her quotes hence I thought I would share it here." Civility costs nothing and buys everything" Lady Mary Worley Montagu "Nature has given men one tongue and two ears, that we may hear twice as much as we speak" Epictetus. "All sins cast great shadows." Irish proverb "The central problem of our age is how to act decisively in the absence of certainty" Bertrand RussellWishing you a safe and healthy life and I look forward to your comments. Throwback Thursdays: sometimes I have to check on my Real Estate Signs...Sometimes, I find it is important to take a tour and look at my Real Estate Signs. Some neighborhoods I do not even put up a sign because I know that the neighbors think by knocking down my sign, I will not be able to sell it and they do not have to worry about someone building near their home...Yes, it does sound strange when we have all the internet portals some neighbors still think that only the sign will sell the property. How naive, anyway, then again there are other neighbors who are totally different. They call me and tell me someone vandalized your sign check it out.All depends on the personalities, and I am grateful for the kind neighbors. Some even tell me... Well, when we are ready to sell, we will be r...
