Question: I have a question regarding Section 32 on limits to what can be charged on a loan. This is for California.
The purchase price is $56k
The loan amount is $42k
There cannot be charges higher than $2,100.00 or 5% based on loan amount.
Escrow and title alone are charging $3,180.00
The loan officer is doing it for free.
The lender is only charging $1,200.00
Is it me or does is escrow/title just over doing it?
