 The Median Home price in Riverside County California increased to $198,000 in March 2010. That is a 5.8 percent increase from March of 2009 according to Dataquick, a real estate research company, that tracks all closed sales through out the county. There was also a 1 percent increase from February 2010 to March 2010 and as we have entered the traditional ' buying season' it is fair to assume that prices will continue to rise.  We have been seeing multiple offers on many properties over the last year if the property is priced right. The good news for home buyers is we still have record low interest rates and with the first time home buyers tax credit it is possible to make an excellent purchase in Murrieta California.  Life is always in constant change and even I try to embrace change. Indoor plumbing is phenomenal and electricity never seizes to amaze me when I turn on the TV to watch a ball game. A refrigerator that keeps my beer cold is a wonderful invention built out of necessity by a like minded person. Computers have changed our world and even I have embraced this Blogging stuff to bring in more business.  When rotary dial phones went the way of the Dodo bird I had no problem with it and then the invention to top them all came along: the cell phone!!!!!!! That revolutionized the way we now do business and it now can be a mini computer if you so desire. This is not really Real estate related, but it is a sign of the times...  Frequently, when I drive on Los Alamos between French Valley and Murrieta - especially on Saturdays, I have seen folks with signs and some horses in a little corral... Today, I stopped, asked what they are doing...  And guess what, they run a horse rescue, the signs are to get people to go have a little horse ride and maybe donate a little for feed.
