On Thursday, March 5, the Pleasanton Unified School District Board of Trustees decided to place a parcel tax on the June 2 special election ballot. The proposed amount of the parcel tax would be $233 and would expire after four years. An exemption will be available for seniors and those with other special needs. If approved by a two-thirds majority of voters, revenue from the parcel tax would help compensate for an $8.7 million cut in school funding. On Tuesday, Feb. 24, the Pleasanton City Council, on a 3-2 vote, approved the completion of Stoneridge Drive as part of the development of Staples Ranch. Currently Stoneridge Drive, a four-lane arterial street with a landscaped median strip dead-ends at Trevor Parkway near the eastern Pleasanton city limits.   I have done mass flyer emails before and this is the first time it has happened. I logged onto THIS SITE and I completed a simple flyer like all of us Realtors and Loan Agens receive on a daily basis and picked out the cities I thought would be interested in my listing.   After I completed everything and pressed send I recieved one confirmation email saying my order was processed and another email showing me what other Realtors would see on my flyer. I would say about 4 hours passed by and I received a phone call and this guy I could tell was upset.
