Short Sale Disclosure Regarding Lucky Numbers If the number 4 is "unlucky" then why write an offer on a property with the address 1414; send a $5,000 good faith deposit into escrow; wait six weeks to get a formal short sale approval letter from the short sale lender; and then release the contract because the address is unlucky?Apparently, the buyers family convinced them that the numbers would not bring them good luck.
