As most of you have probably already seen, we were struck by a 6.0 magnitude earthquake at 3:20 AM. The epicenter being only a few miles from my home here in Yountville. I was fortunate to have had only some breakage, several ceramic items, a lamp and a couple of glass containers. Upon first review, no structural damage. I will make a final assessment when it gets fully light. This is my fourth large California earthquake I have lived through. The worst was the Selma quake in 1971 at 6.6 magnitude, then Loma Prieta magnitude 6.9 and the 2000 Napa earthquake at 5.2.  What I want anyone reading this, PREPARE for another one will happen. There is a 5-10% chance this morning's shake is a pre-shock to a larger one to follow in the next few days.
