There are two great options for recycling your Christmas tree this year

For home pick-up service: Boy Scout Troop 246 will be recycling Christmas trees in Pine Creek again this year to help raise money to support troop activities. A $10 donation is suggested. For nearby drop off service: El Paso County and the City of Colorado Springs Parks, Recreation & Cultural Services will be offering seasonal recycling services for disposal of natural/grown Christmas trees at a convenient "Treecycle" drop-off location.  Designated Treecycle sites, listed below will operate on January 5 & 6, 2013, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

There were 8 new listings added to the market in May, and 19 pending properties, but only 2 solds. We hope to see the number of sold listings grow in June.

Pine Creek was the slowest of the District 20 neighborhoods that I monitor. Pine Creek has the largest number of active listings, topping out at 40, only June of last year was higher at 41. There were 17 new listings added to the market in April, and 14 pending properties, but only 2 solds. We hope to see the number of sold listings grow in May. I will say that it is very competitive in District 20 near Pine Creek or Cordera. I have clients that were recently involved in a bidding war on a very desirable ranch property just north of Pine Creek. There were 8 bids in all. So sellers, if you have a property that will be in high demand, ranch floor plan with mountain view from the rear of the home, now is the time to get your property on the market.
