Recently I participated in the Pueblo West "wet" parade. It was so much fun and I had a great time. There was lots and lots of food and a ton of people who came threw, estimated at 50,000. Although we were chased out by rain one of the thrills came later

This year I was invited to participate in the vendor section of the Pueblo West "wet" parade. This is a parade where those sitting on the side lines are warned they are going to get wet. A more appropriate word would be drown! What a blast!!!!!!!!!!

May Day - I love this time of year! My lilacs may actually bloom this year (if there are no late frosts), the trees are budding out, the perennials are coming back, and my front lawn needs to be mowed.

In the mid 1970's people were buying up land in Pueblo West, it was affordable and looked like a great deal. After all Walt Whitman said "buy land they aren't making anymore."
This was the place McCulloch thought people would retire to, raise families, start businesses, keep horses and enjoy
