Hurricane Irene, Ft Lauderdale Florida, So Far So Good!

This Elkhart Indiana Real Estate Agent is in Weston Florida which is directly west from Ft Lauderdale about 10 to 15 miles, during Hurricane Irene!  The reports say, as of a couple hours ago, that Hurricane Irene is offshore about 250 miles and is not going to hit landfall in Florida!  They are predicting from Edisto Beach in South Carolina to Md/Va.   We have our Hurricane Shutters up just in case...

From the eye of the storm to the outer reach is approximately 280 miles, Weston Florida is about 250 miles. That means we are going to get rain and the sky is unbelievable black. Sorry, my camera is back at home and I am on the internet at McDonald's...
