I met an inspector that made me realize why I love my job. Not one of my usual inspectors was available to do the job so I asked for a referral from my broker. Not knowing him at all made me worried because my client is a first time homeowner and wanted to be there for the inspection. I made sure to be there knowing I must resell this home every day till it closes. This inspector was very thorough and took time to explain all the mechanical features of the home in detail along with lots of smiles to put the client at ease. He printed out a report on the spot for the client, me and the builder. He also left a homeowner package with maintenance schedules and lots of great info. Both my client and I were impressed.
