The Kaimalino neighborhood in Kailua upholds an image of
an upscale, prestigous community that owners take pride in. The
majority of properties have generous lots, with larger interior
than the average Kailua home. Some of the properties have ocean or
canal frontage as well. Kailua Beach, small shopping center, KMCAS
is all nearby.
This is a new listing that I visited recently. It is
listed by Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties priced at $2,895,000.
All I can say is that it has created alot of buzz between the local
realtors because it is an impressive property! A 5 bedroom, 4
bathroom house over 5000 square feet of interior, and over 19,000
square feet exterior. Built in 2007.

Kaimalino
Kaimalino is a premier Kailua neighborhood adjacent to the
southeast side of Mokapu Road, surrounded by the Marine Corps Base
Hawaii (MCBH) to the north, the beach to the east and the Kaelepulu
Stream to the southesst.
Homes here are generally larger in size, starting at 1,800
square feet and larger, with lots all over 10,00 square feet in
size. Most homes were built from the mid 1950′s on.

"Kaimalino". The location is located just past the Kaneohe Marine
Corps Air Base, situated upon Kailua Bay's shoreline. Kaimalino is
a small community consisting of only about 10 blocks of homes. You
will find that the owners of these properties are well established

A Sunrise in Kailua is like none anywhere in the
world! It is just and absolutely
splendid.

It is not unusual for us to awaken to a site like this from our
home in Kaimalino in Kailua! What a wonderful place to
live. We are generally favored with this kind of view in the
winter when we have a little more rain than usual and temperatures
in the mid 70's during the day. Evenings are another
matter! Temperatures dive to 65 degrees and we
absolutely freeze! It's tough to have to put on sweats
or a jacket and long trousers to sit in the back yard at such
times. Brrrrrr!
