Easy living on Easy Street in Kula Maui Hawaii - lovely ocean views Today's Realtor Caravan for Upcountry Maui took us to 13 homes... way too many to see in just a few hours.  There were homes in Makawao, Pukalani and Kula, and prices were from $350,000 to $2,195,000. Many of them had beautiful ocean views, but I think this was my favorite view of all.  The shady tree framing the view really added to the peaceful easy feeling. Can you believe there's actually a street called Easy Street on Maui?  It's not a long street, and it's not easy to find, but there are some beautiful homes there. Photos of the Auwahi Wind Farm in Ulupalakua Maui I drove to Ulupalakua to take a look at the new wind turbines which went online here just a few months ago.  As I kept driving I thought I would never get there, but they soon popped up over the horizon.  Actually it's more like Kanaio, and way past the Ulupalakua Ranch Store, but it's all part of Ulupalakua Ranch.  Even though there aren't a lot of homes in this area, the power will supply energy to a lot of homes in nearby Kula.  The 21 megawatt project should provide power for about 10,000 homes! Beautiful sculptures crafted from unwanted trees in Ulupalakua Maui   What would you do with some unwanted trees in your yard?  Would you just cut them down?  Or would you create something from them?
