Good news or bad news first? For the second straight month single family sales in Naperville maintained a median price of about $400,000, slightly up over the past two years of transactions. Total units closed in Naperville were down to their lowest month since February of this year and pending sales saw a slight decrease from August. Available homes on the market have decreased for third straight month and are down over 16% from Sept of 2008 and down 6% from September of 2009. Months supply of inventory was up slightly in September but has been pretty steady since May of this year (was 9.6 months in May, at 10.1 for September). Market time has continued a steady decent as well (up in the 0-90 days category and down from 91 days and above) which is good. 15 percent of all single family ...

Hopefully you were able to make it down for some of the live acts, good food and fun that Naperville's Last Fling offered the area over Labor Day weekend. If you are getting depressed thinking about the end of summer ... don't fret!
