Question: Under a option to purchase agreement who is responsible to fix leaking pipes under the house. We have been without hot water since March 6 and the property manager says we are respnsible to fix them. And incidentally he also still expects the mortgage. We paid 10,000 dollars down on the property. When we moved here last year we noticed the grass in the back yard stayed wet, although we didn't know why now we know. I think maybe he did too.
