Question: I have seen several websites about putting property under option agreement to buy for a set price in a specified amount of time. Then, assign the contract to another buyer for a few thousand dollars. Is this legal without a real estate license in the state of Kentucky? Also, is it legal without a license to help a seller to setup a lease with option to buy under a cooperative agreement where part of the down payment is for compensation for the service? Can I assign purchase agreements for a fee without a license? I am looking for a way to make extra money for medical bills. I have looked up the license process but just want to make sure a license is needed.
