Sometimes we forget that we live in a giving America.  My family and I attend a small church Gospel of Grace in Hodgenville KY.  On Saturday we had a meeting with the Mission Construction Team from CrossPoint Baptist Church of Argo, AL.  What a blessing this group is and to be around.  You can tell how God's is working blessing families and communties.  Our church was selected as 1 of their projects this year.  The Team will arrive in KY June 8-12, anticipating 175-200 volunteers in Hodgenville during the project. A team will arrive over the weekend to prepare for the arrival of the group.  They should have 80-100 working on the building, others will prepare their meals and some of them will be involved with the caring and entertaining the children.  This is a family project for their c... 01/27/2009

Listed as the National Historic Site of Abraham Lincoln's birth, this building pictured houses a log cabin similar to that where Abe was born to Mary Todd Lincoln in 1809.  The site, Sinking Springs Farm is just 10 miles from Knob Creek Farm, where Lincoln spent most of his childhood years.  This beautiful place is well worth putting on your list of places to see in Kentucky.  There is a gift shop and visitors center where you can learn more about the life of Abraham Lincoln and his family. 08/22/2008
