Like most of the good things in my life, I literally "stumbled" over David Flannery of Dave's Auto Services, 636 Hancock Street, Quincy, MA 02170. A friend of mine, who was also a friend of David's, suggested that David needed some help with a Lease renewal on his premises in Quincy. I reviewed the proposed Lease, added a few clauses for David's protection, and a strong professional relationship began.

Our family has three cars,  the extra one because my daughter at Catholic University in Washington, DC, convinced us that it was "more practical" for her to drive herself to school and back than take public transportation. None of our cars are new, and so we experienced the usual repair and maintenance issues that any family with older vehicles experiences.

We went through the normal progression of dealer to private company, and I was relatively satisfied with the local company which we were using until I started to work with David. It is not just that I have saved considerable money, because Dave's prices are extremely reasonable. More importantly, David always finds a way to "fit me in" and explains what he is doing in layman's terms so I understand what services and parts he provides.

If you are in the Quincy-Milton-Dorchester sections of Boston, I recommend that you call David Flannery at 617-328-3723 and give Dave's Auto Services a try. I am more than satisfied with his performance, and I think you will be, too. In these days, when we are all trying to conserve our resources, it is comforting to discover a reliable service enterprise for our cars. It is not just saving money; it is saving time and effort when you know that you have the "right" person for the job.
