Motivational Monday-HAVE NO FEAR. First I want to say thank you Active Rain and Websitebox for putting this great contest together. This contest challenged me and made me "THINK OUTSIDE OF THE BOX".

And Congratulations to ALL 186 ENTRIES IN THIS CONTEST. Why seven were chosen lucky winners for the Activerain and Website Box Contest... I wish my Website did this.THERE ARE NO LOSERS. EVERYBODY WHO PARTICIPATED ARE WINNERS. But I still can't believe that IT IS REAL-Somebody cyber pinch me(It's there such a thing-LOL). But this is real. Matter of fact Chad called me earlier today to tell me that I was chosen as one of the seven winners out of 186 entries. Did I want to scream very loud when I found out? HECK YEAH! I am getting a free website. And this website has a lot of tools that every real estate website should have. Ex: CRM,IDX,SEO friendly content and MORE.

But why this is a Motivational Post you ask? Well I will be the first to admit that I am not a techy/IMSD(Not yet)guru in a long shot. I am still a newbie techy Real Estate Agent. When I first heard of this Contest honestly speaking,I almost conceded defeat. Now what would've happened if I just would've just conceded defeat by saying "I can't or won't win because there are too many knowledgeable super techy,SEO Real Estate Professionals here who are better than me? AND THERE ARE. I couldv'e said that BUT I DIDN'T. I took this opportunity as a way to challenge myself and "THINK OUTSIDE OF THE BOX" even though I am not a super techy guy in a long shot. The old me would've defeated myself before I had a chance to give myself a chance to see whether I can do it or not. How many of us have conceded defeat in certain areas of our life before we can even start something because too often we think we can't do this or can't do that. Can't is a word (depending on the situation)is a word that we need to take out of our vocabulary sometimes. I use to do that. BUT NOT ANYMORE. In fact FEAR should be very afraid of me. FEAR is FAKE ENEMIES APPEARING REAL. I say enemies because that is what have defeated many of us. Sometimes we are our worst enemies. Now instead of saying to myself "What if I entered,would I have won?". Now I can say I won because I didn't let fear stop me from thinking that I couldn't win. God didn't give me a spirit of fear. But he has given to us. A spirit of power,glory and a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7

Now because I didn't let FEAR stop me from entering a contest to win a free website,I have a new website. Hope to start getting it set up with Chad this week. I have an old domain that I am going to use for this new website. I am definitely going to let everybody know how everything is going with the site. Hopefully my experience with this website will prompt more peoole to take advantage of this site that is $99 FOR LIFE. I actually told Chad am I being punked when I talked to him? SERIOUSLY. PG County MD first time homebuyers program keyword search by an open house vistor brought her to my Active Rain blog. Yesterday I got a call from a lady. She said that she found my blog. I asked her which blog. She was talking about the Prince George's County "My Home Program" for PG County first time home buyers. 

To be honest with you,I was smiling when she said she read my blog. I immediately knew she was talking about Active Rain since this is the only place I post my blogs. But when she said Active Rain,I started laughing. People don't usually say "Activerain". They will say that they found you on the Internet. But to hear her say Active Rain",I had to laugh. This is why you need to blog more on Active Rain. People really read your blogs.

We started for about ten minutes. She told me that I met you at an Open house you did a while ago on 9108 Westphalia Rd Upper Marlboro MD 20774-Open house Sunday which is not too far from my real estate office located at 8500 Westphalia Rd Upper Marlboro MD 20774. I remembered her because she came with her baby and a guy. She told me that she was working with another EXIT Real Estate Agent from another office. I also remembered running into her again at a library about a month later. So for her to call me yesterday,it shocked me.

She said that she really wants to really buy a house right now. However she told me that two things need to come off her credit report. She wants to use the basement for a daycare because she has been thinking of opening up a daycare for a long time. She said she found me because typed in the search engine the keyword "PG County MD First time home buyers program"which led her to my Active Rain blog. Told her that I will keep in touch with her and send her information on more about the program for PG County MD First time home buyers.
