April was much slower over March's sales in Carova. My belief is still that 2011 will see the most transactions in 5 years, and that this can be the first step to recovery. Total transactions year to date are up about 40% from 2010. The Outer Banks Real Estate market continues to be on a hot streak as the first quater of 2011 has ended. I just go one my long term clients a great deal on a immaculate 5 bedroom/ 4 1/2 bath, 2950sq ft house in the Ocean Sands community of Corolla. This house is only 5 lots from the beach and was already booked solid with $40,000 in gross rental income for the summer rental season. The house had a tax value of $837,199 and sold for $625,000!!
