Last summer I wrote a blog about the famous home in Toms River that was used for the filming of "The Amityville Horror" being put up sale at 1.35 million (the home has since been withdrawn from the market) Outside filming wasn’t done at the house on Long Island, where a similar real-life story was supposed to have happened, but at the Toms River house, where a superstructure was built around portions of the home to make it look like the Amityville one. Chris Christie will hold a town hall meeting this Tuesday, June 7 in Toms River. Tuesday's event will be held at the Toms River National Guard Armory located at 1200 Whitesville Road.
