These passionate purple flowers from Pecos, New Mexico were in abundance during a weekend hike to the beautiful High Country.  Not too sure what they are called but the color and texture is stunning, one is fully openend the second on its way.  If anyone knows what these are please share in the comments. The town of Pecos, NM and the Pecos wilderness is an easy 1.5 hr drive from Albuquerque. Hiking and Photography is just another one of many Albuquerque Lifestyle options.
