Nassau County News: 3 Robbers Posing As Contractors Nassau County police say three men are posing as contractors, distracting homeowners and trying to rob them. An Albertson homeowner says a man showed up at her home yesterday and told her he was putting up a neighbor's fence and needed to check her property line. Then, she says, he offered her $50 to buy stones in her backyard. She says a second man also appeared and was talking to her husband while a third man entered her home. She saw the man, chased him out and called police. Good for her! Police say the suspects are responsible for similar incidents in Roslyn Heights and Great Neck.
