RING AROUND THE ROSES 5K Walk-Run

Runners, walkers and even standers who would like to support the Clintonville-Beechwold Community Resources Center are invited to participate in this year's EAS Ring Around the Roses.

The sixth annual EAS 5K Walk-Run has become a Memorial Day tradition in Clintonville, with hundreds of runners and other participants beginning their holiday with a fun event at Whetstone's Park of Roses and nearby Whetstone High School stadium.

The EAS Ring Around the Roses will be the morning of Monday, May 27, beginning with day-of registrations at 7:30 a.m. at the school, 4405 Scenic Drive in the Clintonville area of north Columbus.

Prerace registration for runners and walkers already is open, and can be accomplished by visiting the website: https://www.signmeup.com/site/online-event-registration/91462.

Registration is only $35 from now until May 26, and $40 the morning of the race.

Participants in the Kids Fun Run, which will start at 8:30 a.m. that day, can run for free although registration is encouraged.

Many local businesses stepped up to sponsor this year's race, led by title sponsor EAS. DeFourny and Co. Realtors and Molina Healthcare signed on as "Neighborhood Champions," followed by the following sponsors as "Community Investors:"
