    This morning my first problem of the day had to do with the property management division and a rude client.  As the broker in charge, I had to intervene in an unpleasant situation.    I listened to this man talk very loudly for about 10 minutes.  It was apparent that he was not going to honor his word.  He was throwing my property manager under the bus, opening my company to a potential lawsuit.  Our legal advisors recommended severing ties with this person, which is exactly what I did.    After the conversation I wondered:  what makes people so rude and mean?  Are they so unhappy with their own lives that they feel compelled to infect everyone else's lives with their poison?  How do you recognize these personalities and stay away from them before developing any ties?    On the othe... 03/27/2009
