A Lexington, SC, Neighborhood that Feels Like Home:  Fox Crossing

My husband and I used to jog regularly around Lexington and West Columbia, and there is a neighborhood we used to jog frequently where we would always comment on the lovely homes, the diversity of architecture, the mature trees, the meticulous landscaping, the children playing, and the established community.  "We could live here someday," we would say as we jogged through.

Well...someday arrived sooner than we expected, as a great deal came on the market in that neighborhood and my husband snapped it up quickly.  We love a bargain, and now we love calling Fox Crossing home.

As far as convenience, Fox Crossing really can't be beat.  Located just on the way to Columbia from Lexington, you have your choice of I-20 or I-26 within 3 miles or so in either direction.  Lexington is a snap to get in and out of without hitting any of the traffic snares -- any time of day you can skirt the Lexington traffic by shooting across Mineral Springs Rd.  There is a Bi-Lo grocery store, CVS, and Blockbusterjust around the corner.  Great dining is just a few steps away, too, with a San Jose Mexican restaurant, The Backyard Cafe, The Lizards Thicket (no lizards served), and several chain fast food restaurants close by, both closer in to Lexington, West Columbia, and in a place in between called Three Fountains.  The Columbia Metropolitan Airport is nearby, but not close enough for the air traffic to be noticed.
