Stroke Support Group Monthly Meeting held in Katy TX

WHERE: Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital in the first floor conference room

 

ADDRESS: 23900 Katy Freeway Katy TX 77494 just west of intersection of I-10 and Highway 99 on the outbound side of the feeder road.

 

WHEN: Tuesday August 21, 2012 and every 4 TH Tuesday of each month January thru November.

PRESENTERS: At this meeting Christina Leshler will cover guardianship and long-term care issues.

 

FEE: This support group is FREE and a public service put on by Memorial Hermann Katy.

 

Attendees: These sessions are open to the public and provide offers of advice to survivors, families of survivors and caretakers.

As I have said in the past on specific days, Let all of us pray in our own special way (or give off positive thoughts) for all the poor, homeless, sick, home bound folks, abused women and children, mentally challenged folks especially the children, those who are persecuted, torn by war or suffer from some type of prejudice that all of these folks will have better days ahead during the remainder of 2012. We all need to pledge to help some of these folks in any manner we have the ability and resources to do.

Falcon Point residents know that the community is one of the most prestigious in Katy.  Residents appreciate great schools, fantastic amenities and a great location.  The residents may even know that Falcon Point features one of the best golf courses and golf clubs in the area.  Still there is a secret that Falcon Point residents may not know.

In 2008 Houston faced the worst hurricane in years.  Mortgage companies folded right and left.  The stock market plunged.  Almost any investment in 2008 was a bad investment.

However, owning a home in Falcon Point was a good investment.  Home prices increased slightly to almost $275,000.  The average home in Falcon Point sold in just 63 days, well below the Houston average.   More importantly the Katy Hospital additions bordering Falcon Point can only help the neighborhood grow in the future.
