Pirate Days in The Colony, TX. 2008 was a huge success. The festive atmosphere included- Music from local bands, food with flair, many vendors, sword fights, and Pirates from 'far, far away'. I was there to participate in the fundraiser for the Friends of The Colony Dog Park (non-profit organization).

There was an impressive turnout for the Bow Wow Pow Wow at Bill Allen Park in The Colony, TX. Many people enjoyed the opportunity to spend time with other dog lovers and get to know local vendors in our community. I am one of the volunteers raising money for a dog park.
