Netherlands CarillonOne of Arlington's greatest views is from the Netherlands Carillon in the Rosslyn Neighborhood in Arlington.  The Netherlands Carillon was given to the U.S. as a gift from the Netherlands for helping them in Word War 2, this gorgeous bell is surrounded by tulips and offers spectacular views of the Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial and Capitol buildings.   It also plays Shots of those views to come later.   Yesterday I was focused on the tulips!  They are absolutely spectacular right now.   Pack a picnic lunch and enjoy the tulips, views and listen to the carillon play the Westminster Chimes on the hour. While you are there you can also visit the iconic Iwo Jima Memorial as well as the Marine Corp Memorial.   Enjoy one of the best things to do in Arlington, Virginia!  Yes these were taken on the same day, I just played around with the different settings on Instagram on my iPhone.
