Join the longest running Halloween parade east of the Mississippi as thousands of residents and visitors line the sidewalks through Leesburg's Historic District. The parade begins at 6 p.m. and follows the traditional parade route down King Street from Ida Lee Park to Fairfax Street. Sonsored by the Leesburg Kiwanis, 2011 marks the parade's 55th year.   Not many days ago, Ohio Realtor friends Bill and Liz Spear  commented on one of my cow photos.....that most folks do not consider Northern Virginia as a land of farms and cattle. That is true.
