Thank you for supporting the Dream Home Tour at Stonehouse I would like to personnally thank you for supporting the Dream Home Tour at Stonehouse.  It was a great success.  More than 30 people toured my listing and many of them seemed genuinely interested in the property. So thank you to all of you who live in the Williamsburg Va area for supporting this tour. I would definitely recommend agents doing a tour like this.  The weather was beautiful which also helped, so thank you God for that!! For information about Stonehouse or any property for sale  in the Williamsburg Va area, contact Sybil directly at:  757-897-5889

Lexington History Lesson  Lexington, VA was founded in 1777, we are the second oldest Lexington in the nation, having been named after Lexington Mass. Where the first battle of the American Revolution began. Rich in history & tradition, The local walking tour of Lexington offers the visitor a small glimpse of what locals and the newly relocated have discovered for themselves. There is much to see and do. The Stonewalls Jackson House, was the only home that General Thomas J. "Stonewall" Jackson ever owned. Built in 1800. Jackson and his second wife Mary Anna lived in the house from 1859 till 1861 when he departed for the civil war. The home was owned by the family until 1906 when the Daughters of the Confederacy purchased it. It was used as Stonewall Jackson hospital for 47 years until 1...

I work a great deal with those wanting to relocate to an area that offers a vast array of cultural and outdoor activities, yet with a much needed slower pace. Let me tell you about some of those such as the Lenfest Center for the Performing Arts on the campus of Washington & Lee,with over 127 public performances each year, they offers plays, lectures, ballet, opera to name a few. Next would be The Theater at Lime Kiln (a 19th century lime kiln and quarry) with its restored arched hearth kilns and towering stone chimney, there is nothing more spectacular then a a concert or play under the stars. VMI (Virginia Military Institute) also has a vast array of activities that go on through out the year and as always they public is invited. For the outdoor lover, we are located at the foot of th...
