There are not many Starbucks that I can think of that are stand alone buildings.  Usually they are in strip-malls, or attached to some other building, or like here in Bremerton inside the Safeway store in the Historic Charleston District.  There is one down by the ferry terminal and one across from the Walmart, but really that isn't in the city limits but in Kitsap County.   The photo below is the start of the new Starbucks.  Its located in the newer Walgreen's parking lot.  I have know it was destined to be there after seeing the building plans from the developer.  That development is just below my personal property.  My neighbor had to sell a small chunk of her property so the project could move forward.  Needless to say I know a lot about that project.  I was involved in the transact... 04/17/2012

  One of the reasons I relocated to Bremerton WA was because of the history and early century architecture.  I love older homes.  Maybe it is because of one home I remember as a child that was in Puyallup. A true craftsman with a huge front porch and built in buffets, along with a really unique floor plan that included a kitchen breakfast nook and closets so large we made them into playhouses.  Anyway, the home we purchased here was built in 1941, it isn't a craftsman but a Cape Cod Bungalow. It has a steep roof with side gables, a small roof overhang and is 1 1/2 stories on a daylight basement.  I have wide clapboard type T&G siding on the front and raked shingles on the other 3 sides.  The appearance is symmetrical with the door in the center.  A Cape Cod Bungalow is different than a... 10/03/2009

HAHAHA! I am kidding of course but did want to share with all of my relocation clients what is in store for them! Again, hahaha! This is more snow than I have seen since moving to the Puget Sound are in 1989.  I am just shocked at how much snow we received overnight!  I shoveled snow for 6 hours on Thursday, 2 hours on Friday, 4 hours on Saturday and 2 hours so far today. Yes, I am a crazy lady! But I do live on a very steep hill in a home that was built in 1941 so there is no "drive-way" and my garage is under my home in back of my fully enclosed carport area.  Cars were smaller than and well, I have a tough time went there is sunshine getting in and out.
