New School Boundaries for Maple Valley area residentsThe Tahoma School Board unanimously approved the "Bryson plan" last night and just like that....new school boundaries are in place.  Over the years while raising our 3 sons, we lived through a few boundary changes in the district. One impacted us directly with our youngest being moved from Shadow Lake to Rock Creek and the other not so much as by then, they were in High School....of which there was only one. When we moved to Maple Valley back in 1994, I remember being very surprised to learn there was such an over crowding issue. I called the WA State Superintendent of Education's office and spoke with a very kind man who had kind things to say about the district. Maple Valley, WA  Home Sales in February 2016 Leap Year provided an extra day for sales to close in February. In the Tahoma School District, 53 Single Family homes closed. Big, small, fixer or luxurious Estate....if right-priced, they will sell....below the "luxury" threshold, usually within a matter of days or weeks.
