Real Estate Q. Me and my husband have purchaced our home on land contact, bought for 85000 what it was worth and now owe 60000. We have to get a home loan within next month or two. Been working on our credit with credit counselor and lawyers. He has fico 578/560/535 and me 576/548/515. We had bankruptcy 9 half years old and foreclosure 4 yes old. We have good steady employment down payment and two open lines of credit in good standing. Also made all house payments of 900 on time. We need help. We thought our fico score would be a lot higher by now and our running out of time. Have any advice, or can help. Thank you heather hernandez

Real Estate Q. I am a seller with signed Offer to Purchase and earnest money ~ buyer requested access to fix some windows and said he'd let me know if he had financing in three weeks. He did not contact me and went ahead and did some renovations including tearing out carpets that he did not replace. We contacted him and he said "no financing" could we do a Contract for Deed...which we couldn't. Now he wants earnest money and payment for work and stuff he put into house and I'm left with a lot of undone work and I didn't ask for any work to be done. Also I was selling the house as is. He is suing...am I obligated and should I be suing him?
