About Us:

The Schatz Group Real Estate firm is unique in that we have one of the only departments dedicated 100% to all phases of foreclosures.  With over 18 years of bank owned housing experience I have developed a three prong approach to this growing section of real estate.  First, I work with lenders from across the nation in managing and marketing their Twin City properties.  From the beginning of the process performing the initial inspections and valuation, Broker Price Opinion (BPO), to monitoring properties during the foreclosure process, to the successful marketing and sale of those properties that come into bank inventory, real estate owned (REO), we are here to help. 

Second, we work extensively with buyers looking for these "better buy" properties.  Investors and/or buyers looking for their own personal use can use our knowledge and skills in working with banks in order to get the best possible purchase.  Knowing how banks operate allows us to cut through much of the red tape and save time as well as money.  We keep one of the most extensive lists of bank owned housing in the Twin City metro area and unlike many national organizations we offer this information at no cost to our customers and clients.  If interested simply email me with your requirements and I will send you a sampling of available properties.

Third, as a direct result of our knowledge of the foreclosure process we now offer loss mitigation and pre-foreclosure assistance to those that are going into foreclosure.  Did you know that some 58% of all those that lost their property to foreclosure never knew that they had alternatives, including staying in their home?  Every situation is unique and must be evaluated to determine which options are available.  We have experience in mortgage reinstatement, restructuring of an existing mortgage, refinancing, or if a homeowner wishes to sell their property we can help them sell it for a fair price.  Even if more is owed than the property is currently worth.  Today these "short sales" are becoming a preferred alternative to both lenders, sellers and buyers as well.
