A native of Nebraska, I grew up in Virginia’s Isle of Wight County, graduated from Radford University and now call Virginia (Hampton Roads) my home. As the daughter of a career military man, I had the benefit of living in other countries and states, and truly understand the military lifestyle. I know that my long association with the military has made me the person I am today: honest; kind; compassionate; loyal; determined; flexible; and a bit of a perfectionist.
I'm a newlywed and loving life. My husband Dave is a retired Navy Captain and we are enjoying updating our Chesapeake home as well as looking after our new puppy Opal.
Real estate is not only my profession - it’s my passion. I truly love helping people with all of the issues that often arise when buying or selling a home. In my 7 years of real estate, I've seen it all- houses selling within hours with multiple bids as well as homes that linger on the market way too long.
My 12 years with a major insurance company paved the way for my real estate career. I worked in Property and Casualty Insurance as a service representative and underwriter. I was responsible for writing homeowners insurance and underwriting home risk acceptability. This experience has proved invaluable to my current profession as I am very familiar with all aspects of being a home owner. I am absolutely certain that my professional experience, coupled with my high motivation, stellar customer service and negotiating skills will make your real estate transactions seem effortless.

Comments from happy buyers and sellers:
Michelle Casey was our realtor when we moved from SC to VA. She was a tremendous help with our moving from out of state. Michelle took the time to preview homes for us prior to our coming to VA to look for houses because she knew we were on a very tight schedule. When we did come to look at houses, Michelle had everything lined up for us and it was a great help to know she had our whole day planned and there was no wasted time. We bought one of the homes she showed us and since then has kept in touch to make sure we are doing good. I truly enjoyed knowing Michelle and am very grateful for all the help she has given us. Sincerely, Chad and Sonja McCann 757-539-2079
Michelle Casey helped me buy a house and also sell a home. I found her to be a very capable and hard working agent. I recommend her highly to anyone needing her services! Not only did I have a successful purchase and sale, I made a new friend. Norma J Willard
I can't thank you enough for the assistance you provided with the purchase of my house in Ocean View. By listening to my needs, previewing potential properties and narrowing my choices, you made the process quick and efficient. I have already rented the house with a positive cash flow and look forward to benefitting from the growth in the Ocean View area. Kevin Hull
Michelle is a conscientious professional that always puts her clients first. It is very apparent that she puts her heart and time into every relationship. She is an honest business woman that would rather tell you like it is and have you as a long term client rather than making a short term sale. She is a perceptive, excellent listener that will match the perfect home to your most desired dreams. A. Ramsey, Virginia Beach, VA
Just wanted to take a few minutes to let you know that one of your agents is out there working hard for Rose & Womble. This was my second opportunity to work with an agent out of your office, I was very pleased with the first agent. For my second real estate transaction, I was thrilled with the quality of work and personality Michelle Casey brought to the table. I ask lots of questions from many different angles. She had the answers and was ahead of me at every turn!
Here is my assessment of Michelle Casey: 1. Dedicated - Hard Working - Energetic (She owns this Neighborhood!) 2. Executes to Perfection - Professionally developed a Strategic sells approach 3. Available 24/7 - Always answers her phone - I never doubted if she was on the job! 4. Friendly & Fun - It was actually a fun experience! In closing, I would recommend Michelle Casey to anyone certainly all my Navy friends and associates. Thanks again Michelle! Arlene and I are grateful for all your hard work. A+ Michael & Arlene Boyter
Michelle Casey epitomizes the term "professional". Her dedication to her clients is only outshined by her consumate marketing skills. Displaying an expert knowledge of our neighborhood, the current housing economy, and how to sell a home, she exceeded all our expectations! She worked with us to establish a plan for the sale that worked within the constraints of the market. Her commitment and hard work were singularly responsible for our house selling in only 8 days at our asking price!!! Michelle Casey kept her promise... 100% effort, 100% of the time!!! Jerry and Brenda David
WOW! I was expecting my house to be on the market for 4 months before it sold (based on your research), but 4 days!?! I guess you were right, people who are reasonable in what they ask for their homes sell their homes quickly.Thank you so much for your professional and honest advice, for your constructive suggestions, and for not only doing your job, but doing it well. I appreciate the fact that you took the time to really listen to me. Selling a home that you've had a life in is part business and part emotional; it's a great feeling when you have an agent who blends objectivity with heart and is able to ease the process of both parts. Wishing you many more success stories like mine!Jo Ann Williams
