About Steven McNamara:
I am a real estate investor and foreclosure prevention specialist who dabbles in internet marketing. I currently live in Bethany, CT with my wife and two daughters. I spend most of my time online or on the phone (or both) marketing my various businesses and trying to earn additional income while helping as many people I come in contact with as possible.
A lot of my time is spent on foreclosure prevention and helping homeowners who are behind on their mortgage to keep their homes. I try to at least help them learn more about what their options are in a foreclosure situation. As a real estate investor, this was first a little difficult for me because I had been focusing only on buying houses. To speak with a homeowner and offer to help them keep their house was a little different for me. I found it very rewarding to see how thankful and appreciative people can be when you are able to help them during a difficult time.

Areas of Expertise
My primary focus is helping homeowners who are facing foreclosure. I am an investor so my income comes from buying and selling property but I spend a good amount of time working with homeowners helping them keep their home. I do this at no charge to the homeowner and only make money if they end up selling their home to me. If they want to keep their home, and they have the ability to do so, meaning they can afford it, I want to help them do just that.
Selling to an investor should be considered as a last resort in a foreclosure situation. Most people don't want to sell and many times, don't need to sell. I help them with their other options, but I am available to buy their house if those other options don't work out.
