About Us:
I am a Christian member of the never-aging Baby Boomers Generation, a proud member of the Sandwich Generation busily dealing with the issues of caring for elderly parents, while granny nanny-ing grandkids not to mention real estate investing and enjoying writing all about it. The goal of my website, http://www.SandwichINK.com , is to provide information and resources to encourage other multi-generational senior home care givers and their families. I have expanded to include a second site, http://www.SandwichINKrealEstateInfo.com , where I discuss information of interest to the Sandwich Generation and their issues of caring for elderly parents and helping with grandkids or still raising their own children, specific to their real estate needs. Whether we are dealing with our own investment properties, those of our elderly parents, or are, perhaps, involved in a real estate business, I hope to make this a useful tool we can all benefit from.
Areas of Expertise
As a member of the never-aging Baby Boomer Generation and the Sandwich Generation caring for elderly parents including those with dementia symptoms and helping with grandchildren, I've had years of experience juggling all the issues and needs in this season of life, such as granny cottages, mother-in-law suites, remodeling required for special needs including handicap grab bars for bathrooms and other areas, wheelchair-friendly halls for all sizes of wheelchairs from an electric powered wheelchair to those handy lightweight travel / transport wheelchairs, easy-to-care-for landscaping designs, etc. I'm still dealing with them along with writing about them to help you with your Sandwich Generation family and real estate needs.
