About Me, Passion, Goals
Alberta born and raised, I have been a resident of Calgary for almost 20 years. After rewarding careers in both Social Work and restaurant management, I was ready to indulge in my next passion - the real estate industry. My previous careers provided me with a great foundation for being a Realtor; a dedication for helping people, great listening skills and patience, and an insider's knowledge on my community and city. I have been working as a Calgary Realtor, here in the city and surrounding areas since 2003, and I love it!

This Is Who I Help:
Although I do work with a number of different groups, I usually tend to be pulled back to the first time home buyers. I work Residential real estate, in and around the city as a Calgary Realtor. I work with Sellers and Buyers, who own or want to purchase homes and condos, residential real estate. I am a Certified Condominium Specialist, and An Accredited Buyers Agent giving me an edge when working with my clients. I do not work with commercial (that is a completely different ball game), but I'd be happy to refer you to someone who does.

Your satisfaction and happiness are my ultimate goals, and for you to be able to successfully purchase or sell real estate. To accomplish this I will always listen carefully to make sure I understand YOUR objectives and preferences. By helping you to reach your goals, I will then be reaching mine.

How Will I Help You:
By having my CCS Certification and the ABR Designation, you as a first time home buyer can be confident that you truly are working with a realtor that is looking out for your best interests. We will sit down for a "meet and greet", where I'll be sure to explain the home buying or selling process. This will give a chance to get to know each other and decide if we want to work together. You'll be able to ask me questions, get the real answers, and really get a feel for the kind of person I am. I am not going to push you into anything, make any decisions for or to you, but you will learn that we will work together to help you meet your real estate goals. I will be thorough and always communicate consistently so that you know what to expect.

My Belief:
I sincerely believe that educated decisions are happy decisions: the more information you have, the better decisions and choices you will be able to make!

Sellers:
Don't worry, I work with seller as well. Most of my sellers tend to be past buyers. That says something in itself. Once again, although there are not really designations and certifications to work with sellers, a lot of the skills and learnings cross right over. I am a Certified Condominium Specialist, and weather I am working with the buyer or seller, working with a realtor who has the extra training in my opinion, is a must. Condos are so completely different than the single family home residential real estate. I'd be happy to sit down and discuss this further with you.

First time home buyers:
Ah, my specialty. I love first time home buyers. This is a very big decision, perhaps one of the biggest decisions you'll financially make. I understand the patience it takes to help educate you and inform you about the real estate process. I can tell you, we will take as much time as you need. I am not going to push you into something you regret or don't understand. I am not after the next pay check in my pocket. I believe that will come when my clients are satisfied, and happy.

“As a resident of another province wanting to move to Calgary, I hired Tania to help me find the house of my dreams and within my budget. I flew to Calgary to meet Tania and discussed the type of house I was looking for. Upon meeting Tania she sat me down and introduced her approach to real estate and buying a house.
