Home Matters Home Staging, Training and Rental is a professional home staging, training and Furnishings Rental company serving all of the Indianapolis, Indiana Metropolitan area.  Home Matters has become one of Indiana's largest, most successful and fastest growing home staging and training companies.

Home Matters was founded in 2004 by Linda Barnett and has since worked with more than 850 homeowners, realtors, builders and investors throughout the Indianapolis metropolitan area, helping them sell homes for an average 97% of the list price and in an average of 48 days on the market after staging.  Linda's background as a former Realtor, owner of a Gift Basket and Event planning business and Certified Interior Decorator has served her well in the Home Staging Industry.  Linda and the Home Matters team have been featured in numerous media, including The Indianapolis Star, Indianapolis House & Home Magazine, Indianapolis Business Journal, REAL ESTATE Lifestyle Magazine, FOX 59 News, and WISH-TV/Angie's List segments.  Linda's and her teams extensive body of work earned her a nomination for the 2007 Professional Stager of the Year Award from the Real Estate Staging Association (RESA) and has been named "Best in Class" Home Staging & Redesign Company by the F.C. Tucker Real Estate Company for 2007 & 2008.  Home Matters also enjoys the highest ranking among all Indiana staging companies by Angie's List.  Linda served as Technical Editor for the Home Staging for Dummies manual, which was released by Wiley Publishing, Inc. in May of 2008. In 2008, Linda and her husband Gary became Co-Indiana state Presidents of the Real Estate Staging Association (RESA).  The Home Matters team has trained Real Estate agents on GRI credited home staging courses as well as providing numerous presentations to Realtor offices and homeowners throughout central Indiana.  In the fall of 2008, Home Matters hosted a RESA, Real Estate Stagers Round Table in Indianapolis, attracting 25 area stagers, one of thirty-one North American locations to hold such an event.  In January 2009 Linda became an Instructor for the First Impressions Home Staging & Re-Design (SAR) and Certified Agent Stager (CAS) certification courses offered to Home Stagers and Real Estate Agents.  Linda is now a certified instructor for the CSP Elite agents training program and is working towards becoming a CSP stager trainer.

I am a former Distribution and Logistics Executive.  I have 30+ years in Logistics positions  with Walmart, Target and Handleman Entertainment.  I am RESA Co-President for Indiana with my wife Linda.
