About Me
I grew up in a small, Midwestern town where everyone knew their neighor and helped out as if they were all part of the family. I had a great childhood, loving and supporting family and learned with each new challenge there was a valuable life lesson in it! I was very active in team sports so I have a competitive nature about me. Sports taught me values that I live by today: Success is achieved by working together as a team; losing wasn't failure, but an opportunity to learn to better yourself; educate yourself and practice to be the best that you can be! We've all heard the saying 'it's not whether you win or lose, but how you play the game'...and playing with integrity and passion was always my top priority and the most rewarding.
After obtaining my college degree, I entered into the corporate world which lead me to Northern California. I worked 25 years for a Sales and Marketing company. I took advantage of all the leadership, sales, management and marketing training courses they offered. Great experience and provided a strong foundation for me to build upon.
Life's next journey lead me into the direction of Real Estate. Before obtaining my license in 2003, I had bought and sold property for my personal portfolio. I was always interested in what home values were in my area and running through Open Homes to see what was out there. When my career path was ready for a new direction, I decided to go into Real Estate believing my passion for it combined with the satisfaction of helping others would be very fulfilling...and it has been all that and more! Being an Independent Contractor as a REALTOR®, we get the opportunity to choose how we want to run our business. For me, I choose to concentrate on the quality of service I offer the client rather than the quantity of clients I work with.
Areas of Expertise
My areas of concentration are Single Family, Residential Homes located in the Walnut Creek, Alamo, Lafayette, and Pleasant Hill neighborhoods...although my business takes me wherever my clients need me in the other surrounding areas of the county.
About 9 years ago, I developed a love and passion for desktop publishing and video editing. Little did I know how this hobby could turn into a valuable marketing tool for my Real Estate business! It gives me the opportunity to provide my selling clients with the cutting edge technology and ability to maximize the exposure of their home Globally! Buying and selling Real Estate today has changed due to advanced technology. I embrace and utilize it for the benefits of my clients.
