About Me

In 1974 I relocated to Arizona from Minot, North Dakota with my wife and the confidence that the great Southwest was where I would make my dreams come true. The beautiful weather and breathtaking landscape soon made my love of the outdoors become a deeply rooted passion.

Building custom homes in Pinnacle Peak for 12 years allowed me the pleasure to integrate both work and play. By adding real estate sales to my repertoire, I was able to again indulge further in my pastime.

I joined Prudential Arizona Realty and became a Sales Manager for 85 sales agents. I was responsible for teaching the business of Residential Sales. I am proud to say that many of those agents remain in the business today.

In 1997 after nearly 3 years at Prudential Arizona Real Estate Company I joined the RE/MAX family. RE/MAX International is a strong company with top agents, THE best. Each year with this company brings personal growth and new learning experiences.

Continuing my education I have earned the Graduate of the Real Estate Institute (GRI) and my Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR) designations. I have also earned the prestigious Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) certification, which only 4% of Realtors have obtained. RE/MAX has more CRS designees than the nearest two competitors combined.

These certifications often take years to accomplish, making them all the more meaningful.

I have been an active participating member with the National CRS organization. My membership with the Arizona and Southern California CRS Chapters continue to bring a plethora of learning opportunities.

In my continual effort to improve client services, I have instituted a total regiment of practices and work ethics for every aspect of home-buying and house-selling transactions. Thus ensuring all aspects of a given transactions are fail-proof. I enjoy interacting with sellers and buyers because each day brings a variety of styles and personalities. My dedication to assisting home-buyers in the Phoenix-Metro area, coupled with my deep appreciation for the Arizona desert make me an experienced and proud member of the RE/MAX team.

I look forward to working with you in the future and making your move a pleasant one.

Helen Hankins and Mike Mauser-The purpose of this letter is to express our appreciation for the excellent work that you did as our realtor in Phoenix, Arizona.  We have bought and sold several houses in several states in the last twenty years.  While our experiences with realtors have generally been positive, we feel that you have been one of the best to work with.

Because we moved to Phoenix from a relatively small, rural town, we were not fully prepared for the cost of houses with the attributes and location that we desired.  We appreciated your near-endless patience in showing us more than 50 houses in various neighborhoods within a six mile radius of downtown Phoenix.  As our understanding of the market increased, our ideas and interests evolved.  You did a great job in adapting to our modifications in what we wanted.

We also really appreciated your willingness to research questions we had about local taxes, historic districts, CC&Rs, and other questions.  Because we are non unseasoned buyers, we wanted to make sure that the many concerns we had were addressed.

Your knowledge of house construction, code requirements, termite infestation concerns and other practical information was beneficial to us in our deliberations.

While your patience, knowledge, energy, and flexibility were all very important to us, I think the thing we most valued was your integrity, and your professional ethics.  For us those are the most critical characteristics that a realtor should possess - and you do in full measure.

Of course, it was a great bonus that you are a great guy and fun to hang out with while we were looking for a new home.

Thanks for the great job you did for us and for going far more than the extra mile in your work with us.

Julia Hennessey- I would just like to say a big thank you for selling my house in Arizona Park Place, you made it a very pleasant experience. It can be a stressful time but you helped smooth out the process.  I would like to thank you for everything you and your team did to sell my home.

Cindy Schendel- Terry, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for being the phenomonal realtor that you are. I cannot tell you how much I appreciated all that you did for me during the stressful period of selling my home.

I have to say that you went above and beyond the call of duty. When something needed to be done, whether big or small, you were there for me. I can honestly say that you kept me abreast of any changes in the market and my neighborhood. Honesty and persistance are just two of your greatest strengths. For that, I thank you. I could of never done this without you.

I will with my utmost pleasure recommend you to anyone who is interested in selling or purchasing a home. You exemplify the word "professional". Your realty team has an great asset in having you.

I wish the best of luck for you in your future. I am sure that you will do well. I know, I was lucky enough to have you work with me.

Lexie McVey-  I just wanted to take a moment and thank you for all the help you have given me in finding and purshasing my new home.  More than once you have gone out of your way to make the difficult task of  home buying easy.  Having just moved to this area and never having gone through this process your help has been invaluable.  If ever anyone needs a reference for buying a home you will be the first person I shall recommend.  And on that note if ever any client wants a reference for dealing with you then please feel free to have them contact me.

Diane Metz Veio- RE/MAX Southwest Regional    "On behalf of everyone with the RE/MAX Regional office, I would like to extend our congratulations on being selected as March Sales Associate of the Month for your office.  It is the individual agent who is the key to the success of our system and the expansion of our market share.  I would like to thank you for your commitment to the Profession and to your clients.  You exemplify the best in Real Estate."

Randy Martin -Shore West Realtors- It meant a lot to Monica to be given the professional care that you showed her.  Thanks Terry for all of your kindness and help that was shown to Monica that was way above the call of duty.  It's that kind of treatment that sets some in our profession apart from others.  A very large thank you for being one of those few.
