About me and who I am. Mortgages are my profession, not my life

The two loves in my life are my wife and beer. Definitely in the at order although my wife might argue. I am extremely passionate about my faith, brewing & enjoying gourmet & craft beers/ales, great food, politics, personal freedoms and family.

I was born in Houston, TX but spent my childhood in Aurora, CO. Then, during the Oil bust of the late 80's, our family moved to Slidell, LA just outside New Orleans for two years. This was long enough to realize Louisiana was not for my parents so we moved to Warwick, Oklahoma to our family farm. It was here that I spent my teenage years, graduated from Chandler high school and started to find my way in life. After a couple tries and failed attempts at college I decided to follow a dream I had had since I was child. I move back to Colorado to a town called Glenwood Springs. It was here that I developed my passion for craft ales. After a handful years in the mountains, I decided to move back to Oklahoma and have been here ever since. It was at this time that I found my calling and jumped into the mortgage industry with both feet.

My family's roots run deep in Oklahoma and have been here for over 4 decades. I am now married to a wonderful woman, Jessica Leggett-Herford, who helps run and manage a local bicycle shop near downtown Okc. We have two beautiful beagles and plan to start adopting children in the near future.
